Process Specialist / Account Manager
About the role
You will enhance and improve government team processes by implementing AI and automation tools to reduce repetitive tasks and streamline operations.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and improve government team processes by implementing AI and automation tools to reduce repetitive tasks and streamline operations
- Transition routine administrative work, such as reviewing multi-page bid documents, into AI-enabled processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Develop and utilize tools like Starbridge, or build internal solutions, to identify municipal, transit, and federal accounts that align with Linde’s ideal profile (value, terms, cost to serve, and plant utilization)
- Pre-qualify RFQs, identify high-potential opportunities, and support account managers throughout the bid process to drive growth
- Win and manage select municipal accounts while ensuring alignment with Linde’s overall government account strategy
- Develop a strong understanding of municipal and government account requirements, including flow down responsibilities, FAR criteria, obligations, and Linde’s risk profile
- Collaborate across all segments to maintain the ~$35MM base business while executing on profitable growth opportunities
- Drive continuous improvement by developing annual plans with key milestones, while managing operational tasks such as SBTs, Driver’s Eyes On, invoice disputes, weight discrepancies, QIRs, and service incidents
Requirements
You will bring a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience that supports your ability to succeed in this role.
Qualifications
- Leverage your understanding of the industrial gas industry to support business activities and contribute to account success
- Develop proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, to manage data and deliver professional outputs
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively and support business objectives
- Contribute as a strong team player by working collaboratively across functions and supporting shared goals
- Apply two (2+) years of related experience (preferred) to support responsibilities, while continuing to grow within the role
- Bring or develop a background in sales, contract management, and/or risk analysis (preferred) to strengthen decision-making and account support
- Use strong interpersonal and organizational skills to build relationships and maintain effective communication across stakeholders

Pay
Pay commensurate with experience. Open to salary range $76,500 - $112,200.
