A Day in the Life

• Participate in the accounts payable function including verification of accounts payable invoices, verification of sales tax and general ledger accounts
• Batch invoices to be paid and post entries to general ledger
• Maintains vendors including set up of new vendors, determine if 1099 eligible and prepare year end 1099’s
• Researches and resolves accounts payable discrepancies and outstanding invoices
• Other general accounting duties

Requirements

• Four plus years of Accounts Payable experience or other Accounting related duties
• A desire to find a meaningful, fulfilling career
• Demonstrated proficiency in use of 10-key calculator, Microsoft Office products including Excel is required
• Detail oriented and comfortable working independently
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
• A positive and team-oriented attitude
