Accounts Payable Specialist

About the Role

Our client, a leading fortune 80 telecommunications company, seeks a detail-oriented Invoice Processing Specialist to join a high-performing Accounts Payable team. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are sharp, quick learners, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This position is located in St. Louis, Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of PO and non-PO invoices with speed and accuracy
• Perform data entry in an automated invoice processing environment
• Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing while meeting daily productivity goals
• Review invoice information for completeness and resolve discrepancies when needed
• Learn and navigate multiple business systems with minimal supervision
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in a deadline-driven environment

Required Skills & Experience

• 0-5+ years of experience (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
• Strong data entry experience with excellent accuracy
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Skills

• Accounts Payable or invoice processing experience
• Experience with enterprise systems such as SAP, Ariba, Kofax, or Oracle

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour (final compensation may vary based on factors including background, knowledge, skills, and location; we comply with local wage minimums)
