About the role

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying vendor information, and ensuring timely payments.

Responsibilities

  • Process invoices and payment requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify vendor information and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure all payments are made on time and in accordance with budgetary guidelines.
  • Handle discrepancies and resolve issues with vendors and internal departments.
  • Prepare reports and maintain records related to accounts payable activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with accounts payable software such as QuickBooks or Oracle Financials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
