Accounts Payable Specialist Location: South Bend, IN. (100% onsite) Salary: $45,760 to $51,250 Join a growing team as an Accounts Payable Specialist! We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong understanding of debits and credits, account reconciliations, and accounts payable processes. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of the organization. Key Responsibilities Process vendor invoices accurately and timely.Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.Review and code invoices using proper GL accounts.Maintain a strong understanding of debits and credits and their impact on financial records.Perform vendor statement and account reconciliations.Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.Assist with month-end closing activities and account analysis.Prepare and process ACH, wire, and check payments.Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments. Qualifications 2+ years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience.Strong understanding of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles.Experience performing account and vendor reconciliations.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. #INOCT2026 Click here to apply online
