Accounts Payable Manager

About the role

The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing Accounts Payable team while ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant processing of invoices, payments, and vendor transactions across multiple business entities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of 10+ AP professionals
• Serve as a key partner in driving process improvements, system implementations, and organizational change initiatives

Requirements

• 5-10 years of progressive Accounts Payable experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience managing teams
• Experience managing Accounts Payable operations in a multi-company or multi-entity environment
• Demonstrated experience supporting process automation, software upgrades and implementations, or major accounting transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of AP processes, internal controls, and accounting principles
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office software, especially Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to details; strong interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of individuals throughout operations and management
• Ability to work well in a self-directed, fast-paced, changing environment with minimum supervision

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and maintaining a driving record that meets company policy, insurance, and DMV requirements
