Accounts Payable Manager
Fred Finch Youth & Family Services is a mission-driven organization where employees make a difference in helping individuals with mental health challenges. We are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join our team.
About the Role
The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee AP operations, manage the accounts payable team, ensure timely and accurate processing of payments, maintain internal controls, and support the agency’s financial objectives. This role supports all AP operations for Fred Finch and its related entities, including Fred Finch Eunice, Fred Finch CARES, Rising Oaks, Coolidge Court, and Rising Hart.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the accounts payable team and operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments and expense reimbursements.
- Maintain internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the agency’s financial objectives and integrity of financial systems.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for AP processes.
- Manage vendor relationships and vendor management processes.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and advocate for transparency and teamwork.
- Manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Train, coach, and develop team members.
- Communicate effectively with staff at all levels and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Reconcile bank accounts to accounting ledgers and subledgers.
- Utilize accounting and financial systems and technology.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or a B.A./B.S. in another area of study plus a minimum of 18 semester units in accounting.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in accounts payable, expense reimbursement, or claims management, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Two (2) years of experience as the lead or primary responsible person for automated accounting systems, bank reconciliations, and subledger management.
Pay
Pay range is $93,330 – $119,115.36 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
