ACCOUNTS PAYABLE LEAD
About the role
The Trident Seafoods Accounts Payable Lead (AP Lead) ensures compliance with all policies related to AP. The focus will be on leading the payments staff, solving complicated issues, and projects.
Essential Functions
- Leads, monitors, and supports payment runs and other daily tasks of the payments team
- Leads 1099 reporting requirements and execution
- Leads corporate card administration and supports card users
- Leads, monitors, and supports expense reporting process and policy
- Creates training documents and resources and leads department and stakeholder training
- Leads department-wide projects as assigned

Compensation & Benefits
This is a non-exempt position with an hourly pay rate range of $36 to $43 per hour. Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package. Minimum Requirements
- Required Qualifications: A combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate’s degree and four years of accounts payable experience in a medium-to-large company
- Strong understanding of accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures including financial chart of accounts
Preferred Education & Experiences
- Working knowledge of Procure to Pay workstream essentials
- Exposure to basic project management principles
- Experienced in SAP S/4 Hana Knowledge
Skills & Abilities (KSA)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Understands the principles of internal controls as they relate to AP
Work Environment
This is an on-site position based at the Trident Support Center office in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, with the option to work remotely on Fridays. In-office time takes place in a typical office environment: temperature controlled with adequate lighting and moderate noise. While remote, employees must provide appropriate home office space.
Work Ability Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time at a desk. Frequently required to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee will occasionally stand, walk, and may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near vision for frequent use of a computer.
