Accounts Payable Lead

About the Role

Step into a key AP leadership role due to a planned retirement, offering stability and a strong transition. Join a well-established organization with multiple entities and a large, complex accounting operation, gaining exposure across approximately 10 entities and a high-volume shared services environment. This role offers the opportunity to identify efficiencies and improve processes within an operation that still has some manual components.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Accounts Payable function across multiple companies/entities
• Manage a high-volume AP environment processing approximately 3,000 transactions
• Support intercompany activity and ensure accurate allocation across entities
• Oversee invoice processing, payment runs, reconciliations, and issue resolution
• Maintain strong AP controls, documentation, and approval processes

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable leadership, lead capacity
• Experience working within a larger, multi-entity or shared services environment

Pay & Schedule

• Salary: $70,000-$75,000
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
