Job Summary
The Accounts Payable Lead position at our Vancouver-area client is a temp-to-hire opportunity designed for high-volume A/P professionals who enjoy detailed work and want to be a go-to resource for a team.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing high-volume PO invoices
- S supporting daily A/P workflow
- Reviewing team work for accuracy
- Preparing uploads and running batch processes
- Researching and resolving processing errors
- Working within ERP/accounting systems
- Preparing reports in Excel
- Improving process flow and efficiency
- Supporting vendor disbursements and related A/P activity
- Providing guidance and support to A/P team members as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience
- High-volume A/P processing experience
- Prior lead, senior, training, workflow, or review experience preferred
- ERP or accounting system experience
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to research and resolve errors independently
- A steady, focused, team-oriented personality
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with high-volume A/P processing
- Experience guiding and supporting A/P teams
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to independently research and resolve errors
