Accounts Payable Clerk

Overview

Sunday River is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their Accounting Team. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proficient with numbers, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process all payment requests in a timely manner, including vendor invoices, through accounting purchasing platforms
• Maintain relationships with internal and external customers and team members to answer questions and resolve issues
• Filing and opening daily mail
• Processing weekly check run and mailing payments on time
• Performing cash room duties as backup
• Working vendor statements as time allows
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Manager

Qualifications

• A degree in a business-related field is preferred, but 2 years of related accounting experience may fulfill this requirement
• The ideal candidate should have proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and experience with accounting software
