Overview
Sunday River is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their Accounting Team. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proficient with numbers, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process all payment requests in a timely manner, including vendor invoices, through accounting purchasing platforms
- Maintain relationships with internal and external customers and team members to answer questions and resolve issues
- Filing and opening daily mail
- Processing weekly check run and mailing payments on time
- Performing cash room duties as backup
- Working vendor statements as time allows
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Manager
Qualifications
- A degree in a business-related field is preferred, but 2 years of related accounting experience may fulfill this requirement
- The ideal candidate should have proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and experience with accounting software
