Accounts Payable

Responsibilities

• Process and monitor accounts payable transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
• Verify vendor invoices comply with company policies and purchase requisitions.
• Prepare payment batches, process wire transfers, and issue checks for semi-monthly payment runs.
• Download and reconcile bank statements, record payments in the AP sub-ledger, and maintain vendor accounts.
• Issue 1099 forms as required and assist with vendor interactions and invoice/payment research.
• Perform office admin tasks such as purchasing office supplies, collecting mail, and receiving packages.
• Support the Accounting Manager with month-end close activities and provide audit support.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in Accounts Payable.
• Bachelor's/Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge in Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts accurately.
• Self-motivated individual with strong multi-tasking and deadline management skills.
• Professional work ethic and demonstrated team player.
