Responsibilities
- Process and monitor accounts payable transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
- Verify vendor invoices comply with company policies and purchase requisitions.
- Prepare payment batches, process wire transfers, and issue checks for semi-monthly payment runs.
- Download and reconcile bank statements, record payments in the AP sub-ledger, and maintain vendor accounts.
- Issue 1099 forms as required and assist with vendor interactions and invoice/payment research.
- Perform office admin tasks such as purchasing office supplies, collecting mail, and receiving packages.
- Support the Accounting Manager with month-end close activities and provide audit support.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Two years experience in Accounts Payable.
- Bachelor's/Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge in Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts accurately.
- Self-motivated individual with strong multi-tasking and deadline management skills.
- Professional work ethic and demonstrated team player.
