Accounts Payable

About the role

We're seeking an experienced Accounts Payable team member to join our collaborative accounting team. Your responsibilities will include managing invoices, supporting full-cycle processes, and working closely with various teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage Yardi web-based invoice approval workflow, including indexing and routing invoices for approval, verifying amounts, reviewing general ledger coding, monitoring time-sensitive invoices, confirming documentation, and processing check runs.
• Partner with Asset Services and Accounting teams to ensure timely invoice processing and payment, mitigating penalties, service interruptions, and vendor escalations.
• Perform annual vendor master file reviews, identify fraud risks, validate vendor setups, and maintain approval documentation.
• Conduct monthly account payable aging reconciliations and reconcile monthly credit card transactions.
• Prepare annual Form 1099 filings and unclaimed property reports.
• Handle employee travel and business expense reports through Concur.
• Resolve outstanding payment variances with vendors.
• Maintain the Form W-9 database in Yardi accounting software.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a large corporate setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other business software.
• Experience with Yardi and Concur is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with various stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to accuracy, timeliness, and high-quality work.

Pay

The expected base hourly wage range for this position is $33.65 to $38.46 USD hourly, plus an annual discretionary bonus.
