Accounts Payable Analyst

About the role

The Accounts Payable Analyst supports the financial operations of the manufacturing facility through accurate and timely processing of accounts payable. This role ensures vendor invoices and payments are processed in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. The analyst works closely with operations, supply chain, and vendor contacts to ensure timely processing of deliverables and inquiries in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain the accounts payable function, including invoice entry and review, coding, approval tracking, and vendor payments.
• Communicate proactively with vendor contacts to ensure current status of payable accounts and strong vendor relationships.
• Support ad hoc financial analyses to identify cost efficiency opportunities and provide relevant and timely reporting to operations.
• Assist with an ongoing Oracle system implementation to ensure continuity of accounts payable processes and implement efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• Prior experience in accounts payable processing is required.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or a comparable ERP system is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner across functions.
• High ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality, compliance, and accountability.
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug and background screen.

Pay

Starting wage is based on experience and shift. Off shifts include additional shift differential pay.

Schedule

Various shifts are available. This is a full-time, onsite position in Mayodan, NC.
