Key Responsibilities
- Mentor and manage the workflow of the Senior Leadership team
- Collaborate to set goals, organize meetings and reviews with the team
- Create more wow moments, freedom and income for all team and partners
- Identify the team’s Gears of Drive and develop pathways to increase Gear

- Create growth strategies and plans focusing on financial growth and partner satisfaction
- Negotiate with partners to create win-win-win scenarios
- Arrange collaborative and meaningful meetings with prospective and ongoing partnerships
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing partners
- Understand and communicate all partner's project objectives and outcomes to the internal team
- Track and report on key milestones and measurables
- Lead by example
- Reconcile all bank, control, and other accounts
- Maintain debtors at an acceptable level
- Prepare and enter journal entries and adjustments into the accounting system
- Intercompany transactions, loans, and monthly reconciliations
- Process banking including deposits
- GST and BAS preparation and lodgment
- BAS and Annual taxable payments reports
- Prepare company cashflow statements and forecasts
- Prepare Rolling invoice schedules and rolling cashflow schedules
- Prepare weekly accounts reports
- Keep accurate company balance sheets
- Track and report on project profitability
- Process payroll and commissions along with preparing and lodging Payroll tax, PAYG, and Superannuation
- Prepare and present Profit and Loss statements on a monthly basis to the Directors and General Manager
- Prepare other financial reports as required
- Provide management accounting insights to improve business performance
- Monitor and ensure timely payment for all purchases
- Maintain employee personnel files as to classification, rates of pay, leave entitlements (annual, sick, long service, time in lieu), deductions, salary sacrifice arrangements, and superannuation
- Contribute to the ongoing success of the business by ensuring all legal, statutory, and corporate compliance is maintained and upheld
- Liaise with open and honest communication with the external accountant and human resources
- Provide strong mentorship, leadership, accountability, and inspiration for your team
- Collaborate and mastermind with other team members to grow the highest levels of overall quality and productivity
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting in SME
- Furious curiosity to learn and grow
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Experience in reporting on key project metrics
- Skilled in MS Office, Project Management software, and other IT software
- World-class communication ability
- World-class communication skills both written and verbal to a range of stakeholders
- World-class organizational and leadership skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong decision-making skills and a make-it-happen approach
- Strong compliance management skills
- In-depth understanding of accounting procedures and legislation
- Proficient in Xero
