Accounts Assistant- Payroll (FSH)

Responsibilities

• Process employee and consumer payroll.
• Work with various departments and staff to answer payroll questions and resolve payroll issues.
• Process documents in a timely manner to ensure payroll runs correctly.
• Maintain attention to detail and accuracy while performing a variety of tasks.
• Apply basic knowledge of research methods related to financial transactions to identify and resolve transactional issues.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, planning, organization skills and problem‑solving ability.

Requirements

• Satisfactory performance with no written reprimands in the past 6 months.
• No other disciplinary actions in the past 12 months.
• Adhere to the hospital’s safety and security policies.
• Embrace the mission, vision, and values of the hospital and show respect daily.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in banking, balancing accounts, accounts payable, payroll or similar experiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAMII HR and/or Financial, and Missouri Buys.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed).

Skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of SAMII and payroll processing.
• Basic knowledge of research methods for financial transactions.
• Strong communication, planning, organization, and problem‑solving skills.

Pay

Salary: $34,999 per year.
