Accounting & Transactions - Manager

Our client is a large, established Advisory firm that has placed significant capital behind their Accounting & Transaction Advisory sector expansion this year. If you've got a Public Accounting background but want to expand that knowledge and experience with a firm devoted to developing and progressing their people, this opportunity is for you. Whether you're an External Auditor with strong Financial Statement experience or a current Deals/FDD/TAS professional who is a Databook whiz, this firm should be on your radar.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to a diverse client base.
• Assist senior tax advisors in delivering sophisticated tax solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes affecting the tax landscape.
• Possess a proactive approach towards complex tax issues and inquiries.
• Sustain high levels of compliance and accuracy in all tax-related matters.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s degree preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred—will accept those who are in process.
• 4+ years of experience within Audit, Assurance, Advisory, or Deals/FDD, within a Public Accounting firm (Big 4/Top 10 preferred).
• Experience with large, Public filers (Audit/Assurance) and High Value Transactions (Deals/FDD).
• High degree of professionalism required, including the ability to communicate with C-Suite level individuals.
• Self-starter who can thrive as an Individual Contributor or in a team-based environment.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, FASB, and SEC/ASC rules and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to changing technological environments (AI, RPA, etc.).
• Robust understanding of tax advisory and strategic tax planning.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
