Accounting Technician Sr. - 8 hrs/day (Fiscal Services)

Performs reviews and reconciliation for a full range of general and special fund accounts. Provides general ledger accounting services assuring accurate and timely budget and financial information that can be used for current and future financial and program decisions.

Responsibilities

• Perform reviews and reconciliation for general and special fund accounts.
• Provide general ledger accounting services to ensure accurate and timely budget and financial information.

Requirements

• Two years of post-secondary education in accounting.
• Two years of relevant and progressively responsible experience in governmental accounting or budgeting.
• May require a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Copy of transcript showing college-level curriculum in bookkeeping or business practices.
• Proof of high school graduation (diploma, transcripts, or equivalent such as GED).
• Resume providing clear evidence of required experience.

Pay

$31.12 - $41.15 per hour in 9 annual steps. Salary placement is based on relevant experience.

Schedule

8 hours/day; 5 days/week. 12-month work year.
