Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing (What You’ll Learn): In This Role, You’ll Develop Practical Skills By

  • Reviewing and entering payroll data (hours, pay, deductions, benefits)
  • Learning how payroll systems work in a multi-company environment
  • Identifying and fixing discrepancies to ensure accurate pay
  • Maintaining employee payroll records and documentation
  • Supporting payroll reporting and compliance processes
  • Assisting with special payroll runs and adjustments
  • Responding to employee questions and building professional communication skills

Requirements

We’re open to candidates starting or pivoting into accounting/payroll roles. You Could Be a Great Fit If You Have:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • ~2 years of experience OR exposure in:
    • Accounting
    • Bookkeeping
    • Payroll
    • Accounts Payable/Receivable
    • Finance or HR support roles
  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills (you’ll use it regularly)
  • Successfully pass background and drug screenings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework in accounting, finance, or business
  • Internship or entry-level experience working with financial data
  • Experience handling confidential or sensitive information
