About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to oversee complex accounting and financial processes, ensuring organizational compliance, accuracy, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute complex accounting and financial processes, including financial reporting, account reconciliations, and audit coordination
- Supervise and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting tasks
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, laws, and organizational policies, including those related to financial reporting, accounting standards, and internal controls
- Prepare and distribute financial reports to internal and external parties, including management, board members, and regulatory agencies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices
- Other job duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with ability to motivate and develop team members
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex financial data and develop creative solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
