Accounting Success Manager
About the role
We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our team as a builder. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in public audit or industry GL/Close, Revenue, AP, or Consolidations. A solid understanding of US GAAP and the end-to-end close process is essential, with exposure to technical accounting concepts like ASC 606/revenue recognition preferred. The successful candidate will translate complex accounting challenges into automated workflows using Rillet's AI platform.
Responsibilities
- Own customer relationships and outcomes: Build deep relationships across your customer portfolio, run success plans, and hold recurring meetings to maximize value attainment of Rillet.
- Deliver unique AI-driven accounting solutions: Translate complex accounting challenges into automated workflows powered by Rillet’s AI platform.
- Apply accounting expertise: Bridge the gap between technical product capabilities and customer accounting needs, ensuring solutions meet real-world requirements.
- Drive platform adoption and expansion: Lead trainings to ensure customers are continuously enabled on the platform, advise on process optimization and month-end close efficiency.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Provide front-line customer feedback to founders and Product in close to real-time, triage support issues with Engineering, and ensure smooth account handoff with Implementation.
- Become a Product Expert: Develop deep product expertise in Rillet’s AI-native platform, staying up-to-date on the latest features and functionality.
- Represent Rillet: Apply high customer empathy and structured problem-solving to ensure every customer interaction is delightful.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience (public audit/assurance or industry GL/Close, Revenue, AP, or Consolidations).
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and the end-to-end close process — even better if you have exposure to technical accounting concepts like ASC 606 / revenue recognition.
- Proven ability to translate accounting requirements into system configurations and automated workflows.
- Experience with ERPs (e.g., NetSuite, Intacct) and comfort picking up new finance tools.
- Bias to action, ownership mindset, and high attention to detail in a fast-moving environment.
Qualifications
- Nice to have: CPA (active or inactive); prior client-facing/consulting or implementation experience (not required).
