ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities
• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including adjustments and general ledger reviews
• Prepare financial statements and management reports
• Conduct monthly KPI analysis and evaluate gross and net margins
• Monitor and record employee expenses, including corporate credit cards and reimbursements
• Support internal and external audits
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Act as the main point of contact for external tax advisors
• Develop reports, analyses, and action plans for Management
• Assist with occasional administrative and operational tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong understanding of P&L statements and balance sheets
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Experience with tax-related processes is considered a strong advantage
