About the role
We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to support the monthly close process, account reconciliations, journal entries, and special projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations
- Process asset-related transactions
- Maintain accuracy of equipment and lot files
- Assist with inquiries from profit centers
- Document accounting procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, including journal entries
- College-level accounting courses or equivalent
- Proficiency in Excel, email, and general ledger systems
- Exposure to AS400 preferred
- Ability to multi-task
Skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Adaptable to physically demanding tasks involving lifting and outdoor/indoor work
