Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable (vendor invoices, payments, reconciliations).
- Manage accounts receivable, including posting payments and following up on outstanding balances.
- Create and issue customer invoices for repair services and parts.
- Verify repair orders, parts charges, and labor for billing accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
- Communicate with customers and vendors regarding billing questions.
- Aid with month-end closing and reporting tasks.
- Support payroll and other administrative accounting duties as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Experience with AP/AR required.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Professional communication skills.
- Experience in an automotive or truck repair environment is a plus.
