Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Administer, facilitate and organize an Accounting helpdesk
- Organize daily mail
- Post specific vendor invoices to CODA
- Scan and approve utility invoices in Avid and match with payments in CODA
- Reconcile Caterpillar parts statement monthly
- Post Caterpillar parts invoices/credits from Intray
- Organize financial records, file, and perform data entry
- Maintain vendor W9 information
- Absorb various tasks and projects as assigned
- Scan customer tax exemption forms
- Assist Accounting Manager, Accountants, and Insurance/Bid Analyst with various tasks and projects
- Manage employee tool loans
- Perform daily cash deposits
- High School Graduate required
- Associates’ Degree in Accounting a plus
- 2-3 years of accounting experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with CODA
- Organization skills and time management skills are a must
- Must be detail-oriented, time-conscious, focused, and able to multi-task
- Attention to detail specific to general ledger account codes, store numbers, and divisions is necessary for accurate reporting
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction is a must
- An intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is necessary
- A general understanding of accounting software specific to accounting will be helpful

- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible
