Accounting Specialist

Integral to our mission is to also be the premier company in North America for providing grease trap services.

This is a hybrid role: 3 days in office at our headquarters in Woodridge, IL and 2 days working from home.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process and record invoices, vouchers, cash and checks.
• Ensure bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
• Participate in month-end closing, reconciliation, journal entries and resolve account discrepancies.
• Check for accuracy in reports, figures and postings; compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.
• Prepare reports for management and reconcile and report any discrepancies found in the records.
• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors and reconcile statements.
• Process transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts.
• Assist with other accounting projects and audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Intermediate skills in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, V-lookup) required.
• Minimum three years of direct accounting experience.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $23–$24.50.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with some flexibility.
