Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Aid in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain general ledger and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries.
• Support the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory compliance reports.
• Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting information.
• Analyze financial data and generate reports for management as needed.
• Assist in conducting design/operating effectiveness testing of Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Absorb compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Absorb communication with headquarters to fulfill reporting requirements and provide requested information.
• Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or other related fields or equivalent, relevant experience.
• Experience: 1 to 3+ years of professional experience.
• Experience in manufacturing desired.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledgeable in complex problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Korean/English bilingual preferred.
