Accounting Specialist

About the role

In this position, you will ensure the accuracy of sales order, billing, and accounts receivable data while supporting month-end and year-end accounting activities. The role works closely with internal departments to improve operational efficiency, maintain data integrity, and support ongoing accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Review sales orders and sales invoices to ensure data accuracy
• Coordinate with the supply chain team regarding data corrections and validation
• Process and apply cash receipts in the accounting system
• Review deduction documentation and ensure all deductions are accurately reflected in SAP
• Monitor bank accounts, balances, and outstanding transactions
• Assist with or perform month-end bank reconciliations
• Prepare accounts receivable related reports
• Maintain and review customer master data
• Support accounts receivable and general ledger activities
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Support external audit activities
• Maintain accounting systems and coordinate with system providers when necessary
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects assigned by management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience
• CPA certification or CPA candidacy preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems

Travel Requirements

Infrequent local, domestic overnight, and international travel may be required. No driving responsibilities required.

Pay

USD 55,000–60,000
