Accounting Specialist

About the role

This role involves supporting core accounting functions within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The company specializes in transportation management solutions, providing innovative services to clients nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) processing
• Handle collections activity and follow-ups, tracking outcomes and escalations
• Complete cash application tasks accurately and on time
• Perform purchase order (PO) entry and related transactions in SAP Business One
• Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and report support

Requirements

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Collections
• Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (A/P), including invoice processing and exceptions
• Proficiency in SAP Business One, including modules and functions
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and reconciliation trackers
• Excellent verbal and written communication, being highly organized and detail-oriented
