What You’ll Do
- Analyze & Reconcile – Prepare journal entries, perform complex reconciliations, and ensure general ledger accuracy.
- Report & Support – Assist with financial reporting, audits, NCUA call reports, and regulatory requirements.
- Review & Improve – Identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities to strengthen processes and controls.
- Cook & Collaborate – Partner with the Accounting Manager and team to keep workflows on track and meet deadlines.
- Guide & Share Knowledge – Serve as a technical resource, supporting team members with training, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Process & Maintain – Handle wires, investments, and accounting system updates with precision and care.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration across teams.
- Confidence working independently and exercising sound judgment.
- Experience with accounting systems, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting or general ledger experience.
- Experience in a financial institution or with regulatory reporting (NCUA a plus).
Pay
Starting Pay: $50,353.41 / year

Schedule: Full-time, Exempt

Hybrid eligible after 90 days
