About the role
The Accounting Specialist will support accounts receivable and general accounting functions.
Responsibilities
- Post and apply daily cash receipts
- Manage billing and accounts receivable transactions
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Maintain accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances
- Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries related to revenue and accounts receivable
- Maintain accurate financial records and support internal controls
- Assist with audits and other accounting projects as needed
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree)
- 2+ years of accounting or accounts receivable experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow within an accounting career
