Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist Maintain accurate general ledger records for assigned homeowners' associations as the Accounting SpecialistProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including vendor invoices and homeowner assessments, as the Accounting SpecialistReconcile bank accounts, reserve accounts, and investment statements as the Accounting SpecialistManage homeowner billing, collections, late fees, payment plans, and special assessments as the Accounting SpecialistPrepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, variance reports, and supporting schedules as the Accounting SpecialistAssist with annual budgets, reserve studies, forecasting, audits, reviews, and tax filing support as the Accounting SpecialistRespond professionally to financial inquiries from Board Members, homeowners, and Property Managers as the Accounting Specialist Qualifications For The Accounting Specialist Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred2+ years of accounting experience; HOA or property management accounting experience strongly preferredStrong Excel skills; pivot tables, vlookups.
