Duties and Responsibilities
- Credentialing activities for contracted providers
- Maintain credentialing files in accordance with CMS, DHCS, and organizational requirements
- Monitor provider compliance with contract requirements
- Monitor expiring licenses and certifications and initiate renewals
- Prepare credentialing reports and audits
- Manage the three-way and two-way matching processes and work with business partners to resolve issues
- Verify documentation for accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Process monthly Share of Cost invoicing and reconciliation of payments
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal customers to identify and correct issues
- Process invoices accurately and timely, mail payments, and maintain filing records
- Support annual audits and regulatory reviews
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in healthcare administration, accounting, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent communication, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
