Duties and Responsibilities

  • Credentialing activities for contracted providers
  • Maintain credentialing files in accordance with CMS, DHCS, and organizational requirements
  • Monitor provider compliance with contract requirements
  • Monitor expiring licenses and certifications and initiate renewals
  • Prepare credentialing reports and audits
  • Manage the three-way and two-way matching processes and work with business partners to resolve issues
  • Verify documentation for accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Process monthly Share of Cost invoicing and reconciliation of payments
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal customers to identify and correct issues
  • Process invoices accurately and timely, mail payments, and maintain filing records
  • Support annual audits and regulatory reviews

Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in healthcare administration, accounting, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
