About the role

A well-established nonprofit organization in Sarasota is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Process and enter invoices for approval
  • Auxiliary with grant-related data entry and invoice tracking
  • Code and enter corporate credit card expenses
  • Prepare daily deposits, including remote deposits and check processing
  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and manage front desk activities
  • Prepare conference rooms for meetings and events
  • Order office supplies and maintain common office areas
  • Cook up incoming and outgoing mail
  • Cook up special projects, community events, and volunteer coordination
  • Serve as a resource for staff, visitors, and vendors

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative, office support, customer service, or accounting support experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay focused despite interruptions
  • Comfortable working in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Blackbaud or non-profit is a plus, but not required
