ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST - A SHIFT

This position requires an internal application for current JBS employees.

Reports to: Accounting Supervisor for Procurement. Nonexempt, hourly rate: $24.75. Full-time, 1st shift.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver timely and accurate reports and information as needed
• Process cattle lots as they arrive on site
• Verify lot details for accuracy
• Work with Harvest Floor scaler to move drives as necessary
• Maintain SOX compliance when handling and storing lot details
• Assist Accounting Supervisor with livestock reporting

Systems Used: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, CPS, and a 10-key calculator are used daily.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Minimum of 2 years accounting educational experience, or 3 years professional experience
• Microsoft Office proficient; Microsoft Excel knowledge mandatory
• Some weekend availability may be required
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong attention to detail
• General computer knowledge and effective communication skills
