Accounting Software Customer Support - REMOTE

About the role

Assist QuickBooks customers with questions about QuickBooks Online Advanced, Payroll and Payments. In this role, you’ll provide guidance, troubleshoot issues, and help customers navigate the platform to find the right solutions.

Responsibilities

• Software functionality and navigation
• Account management
• QuickBooks Online Payments
• Payroll support
• Troubleshooting and resolving customer issues
• Guidance on relevant QuickBooks products (cross-selling when applicable)

Requirements

• Quiet, uninterrupted workspace
• Organized desk area
• Personal computer (no tablet)
• Broadband internet connection, at least 10 Mbps download speed
• Wired internet connection (no Wi‑Fi or mobile internet)
• Windows 11 operating system
• Valid antivirus software installed, running and up to date
• Wired USB headset with microphone
• Mac users: Intel‑based machines with Windows 11 installed via Apple’s Boot Camp utility
• No VPN use during work time (e.g., NordVPN, McAfee VPN)
• Not available to contractors residing in California, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington
• Must pass a criminal background check

Skills

• Proficiency in QuickBooks (2+ years experience required)
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality customer service over the phone
• Comfortable cross‑selling when relevant
• Tech savvy and avid computer user
• Communicate with a friendly tone and professional demeanor

Pay

• Earn up to $0.33 per handle minute with a 45‑minute minimum guarantee
• Typical earnings: $14.85 – $19.80 per hour based on call volume and availability

Schedule

• Flexible schedule opportunities – you choose your own hours
• Monday – Friday, 8 am – 8 pm
