Responsibilities

• Review, process, and record fixed asset activity related to existing restaurant locations, remodels, and capital improvement projects
• Apply capitalization policies by reviewing invoices, construction documents, and project expenditures
• Process asset retirements, maintain fixed asset records, and ensure accurate accounting treatment
• Review, repair, and maintenance expenses to identify capitalization opportunities and support monthly financial reporting
• Prepare depreciation accruals, journal entries, supporting schedules, and documentation while assisting with special projects

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience or 1+ year of analytical accounting, reconciliation, or fixed asset accounting experience
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
• Strong Excel skills with knowledge of accounting principles, journal entries, and ERP systems such as Oracle or similar platforms
