Position Overview We are seeking a highly hands on Accounting Manager to support accounting operations, financial close activities, reporting, reconciliations, and financial analysis across global entities. This role will focus heavily on accounting execution, process discipline, and financial data accuracy, while also providing coordination support for global tax deliverables in partnership with third party advisors. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, comfortable working directly in the numbers, and able to support both recurring close activities and ad hoc finance projects in a fast moving environment. Responsibilities Accounting and Financial Close Support Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across global entitiesPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accurate financial reportingPerform detailed variance analysis and provide clear explanations of financial results, trends, and account activitySupport revenue recognition analysis and related accounting considerationsEnsure the integrity and accuracy of balance sheet and income statement accountsAssist with financial reporting packages, close documentation, and management reporting needsPartner cross functionally with finance, accounting, and business teams to improve close processes, reporting quality, and operational efficiencyHelp strengthen and scale accounting processes as the company continues to grow Analysis, Systems, and Process Improvement Perform hands on Excel based analysis, reconciliations, and financial modelingUtilize ERP systems and financial data to support accounting, reporting, and tax related information needsMaintain organized, accurate, and audit ready documentation across accounting processesSupport ad hoc financial projects, reporting requests, and process improvement initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, accuracy, and consistencyLeverage technology and AI tools where appropriate to streamline recurring processes and improve execution Tax Coordination Support Coordinate tax related deliverables, including the global tax calendar, with external tax advisors across multiple jurisdictionsSupport the collection and organization of information needed for quarterly and annual tax reportingAssist with foreign reporting packages, intercompany data collection, and related supporting schedulesReview tax related financial information for completeness, accuracy, and consistency before advisor submissionPartner with local finance teams to gather and validate statutory and tax related informationMaintain a general working knowledge of international tax concepts, including FDII, GILTI, Subpart F, transfer pricing, and intercompany transactionsSupport tax process organization and deadlines, while relying on external advisors for technical tax guidance Why This Role Strong exposure to accounting operations, financial close, reporting, and global finance processesOpportunity to support international operations while building broader finance experienceHigh visibility and direct collaboration with finance leadershipAbility to improve and scale accounting processes in a growing organizationA hands on role with meaningful ownership and impactDynamic environment with opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth Required Skillsets This position requires commuting 4 days per week to the corporate headquarters located in Stamford, CT 5+ years of accounting or finance experience, with a strong emphasis on accounting operations and close activitiesStrong understanding of accounting operations, including close management, journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and revenue recognitionExperience supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesAdvanced Excel skills and strong comfort working directly with large data sets and reconciliationsERP experience required. NetSuite experience strongly preferred.Working knowledge of tax concepts or experience supporting tax related data requests preferredFamiliarity with U.S. international tax concepts such as FDII, GILTI, Subpart F, transfer pricing, and intercompany transactions is helpful, but deep technical tax expertise is not required2+ years of in house experience within a multinational organization preferredPrior experience supporting a Controller, Assistant Controller, or corporate accounting team is a plusExperience using AI tools or automation to improve workflows is highly valued Education Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field required.CPA preferred.Master’s Degree preferred, but not required.
