Accounting Manager - Publicly Traded Co.

Job Summary

The Accounting Manager will handle technical accounting functions for the organization, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), accounting, and revenue filing (10Q/k) initiatives. They will also prepare consolidated financial statements, conduct technical research, manage month / quarter / year-end close processes, ensure SOX compliance, cash flow and general ledger management, and perform account reconciliation. Additionally, they will assist with enhancing accounting policies and procedures, driving efficient production, and performing ad hoc reporting. Collaboration with auditors, finance, and other personnel within the organization is expected.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline
• Public accounting (Big 4 preferred) experience
• CPA certification
• At least four years of accounting experience
• Pharmaceutical / biotech industry experience
• Advanced revenue recognition (ASC 606) and SOX compliance knowledge
