About the role
Manage consolidation and financial accounting related to producing corporate financial statements.Responsibilities
- Manage consolidation of financials for the parent company’s financials
- Manage corporate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes and requirements; internal and external
- Manage financial accounting processes: draft and record journal entries, trial balance management, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation and related protocols, subsidiary ledger maintenance, fixed assets, accruals and prepaid balances, bank reconciliations, financial report analysis
- Work with operations department heads to ensure that all operational activity has been identified and reflected in financial statements.
- Assist with Enterprise special projects, performing accounting research, providing the required deliverables.
- Provide audit prep support to dept Director.
Qualifications
- CPA required
- Public accounting experience - audit environment, including writing footnotes
- 10+ years experience: consolidations, compilations, eliminations, putting financials together
- Strong technical accounting and research skills
- External report writing of any kind
