Accounting Manager of GL & Expense
About The Role
ESO is on a mission to improve community health and safety outcomes through the power of data. As Accounting Manager, Expense General Ledger, you will own the full expense side of ESO's books — from vendor payments and corporate card programs to complex technical accounting areas including capitalized software development costs and lease accounting under ASC 842. You will lead a globally dispersed team of three and serve as the primary expense business partner to FP&A, Tax, International Accounting, and Revenue Accounting/Collections. This role is built for someone who combines technical precision with a continuous improvement mindset. You will champion AI and automation initiatives across the expense general ledger, drive efficient and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles, and expense workstream integrations for M&A transactions. If you see accounting as a strategic function — not just a compliance exercise — this role is for you.
