Local, established and growing family office in the transportation industry is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team.
About the role
This is a hybrid role with 2 days onsite in Oakland, CA and 3 days remote.
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle GAAP accounting
- Multiple-entity accounting
- Journal entries, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting (balance sheets and P&L)
- Trust accounting (a plus)
- Collaboration with external CPA firm on tax returns and preparation
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or similar field; MS in Accounting or higher preferred
- 10+ years of full-cycle GAAP accounting experience
- CPA certification helpful
- Family office experience desired
- Strong system skills: advanced Excel, ERP knowledge; Great Plains a plus
Pay
$135,000 – $165,000 per year, dependent on experience.
