Accounting Manager - Full-Time

About the role

Oversee the organization’s financial reporting, month-end, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensure GAAP compliance, and support audits and tax filings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage financial close processes and maintain financial accuracy.
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, fixed assets, and financial systems.
• Coordinate audit activities, Form 990, NAIS reporting, and enterprise system integration.
• Serve as subject matter expert for PeopleSoft Financials & GL.
• Manage cash flow and banking activities, providing leadership within accounting and shared services teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA required.
• 8+ years of accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Expertise in financial reporting, audits, and GAAP standards.
• ERP experience, preferably with PeopleSoft.
• Strong process improvement, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High accuracy, integrity, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to engage actively with students and uphold role model standards.
