Accounting Manager, East Coast

Responsibilities

  • Complete the month-end close process at PS ATL & PS MIA level, including Revenue Recognition, monthly accruals, bank reconciliation, fixed asset and inventory reconciliation, prepaid management.
  • Support the financial reporting process, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and corporate leadership.
  • Collaborate with local leadership and corporate executives to analyze financial performance, identify variances, trends, and areas for cost savings.
  • Support the FP&A team and VP of Finance during Budget and LRP (Long Range Plans) and Forecasting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and company policies.
  • Respond to ad-hoc financial requirements from the corporate office and support group-wide financial initiatives.
  • Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable for the ATL/MIA location.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and tax compliance.
  • CPA certification highly desired but not required.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with financial tools such as Coupa, Toast, Xtrachef, Expensify, Bill, Stripe.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

$125,000 - $130,000 annually, plus bonus potential.

Schedule

Hybrid work environment – 3 days a week in office.
