Accounting Manager - Consolidations & Intercompany

About the role

We are partnering with a complex, multi-entity organization seeking an Accounting Manager - Consolidations & Intercompany. This role will play a key part in the consolidated close process, overseeing intercompany accounting, eliminations, data integrity, controls, and related reporting activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong technical fundamentals who enjoys complex accounting environments, process improvement, and cross-functional partnership.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly consolidation and close activities.
• Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, settlements, and eliminations.
• Identify and resolve intercompany discrepancies and aging balances.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial information.
• Maintain strong controls and documentation surrounding consolidation processes.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Partner with business units, Tax, Treasury, Financial Reporting, and other accounting teams.
• Drive improvements and automation across consolidation and intercompany processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA required.
• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong consolidations, intercompany, eliminations, and multi-entity close experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX.
• Public accounting and/or public company experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with enterprise consolidation systems preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
