Responsibilities
- Support various aspects of our accounting and reporting process
- End-to-end process ownership to support finance and business partners
- Lead delivery of accounting tasks and projects
- Execute judgments to keep business and accounting projects moving and ensure the right decisions are reached to close the books each month
- Understand internal control design concepts sufficient to assess the effectiveness of controls in your area and to design new processes and controls for emerging and growing business activities
- Escalate risks and issues as necessary to leadership
- Demonstrate strong sense of ownership
- Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to drive positive change across the organization
- Enhance partnerships between accounting and business, finance, tax, trade compliance, and IT groups
- Research, conclude, and memorialize technical accounting position papers
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, OR Bachelor's degree + 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA
- Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients
- 5+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause, and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- 4+ years of transactional accounting field experience
Pay
Base salary range by location:
- USA, CA, Culver City: $95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually
- USA, MA, Boston: $95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually
- USA, OR, Portland: $95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually
- USA, TN, Nashville: $85,900.00 - $146,900.00 USD annually
- USA, TX, Austin: $95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually
- USA, VA, Arlington: $95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually
- USA, WA, Seattle: $95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually
Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
