Accounting Manager

Company Overview: A growing, global manufacturing company is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee general ledger accounting operations and ensure compliance with US GAAP. Job Responsibilities: Manage and mentor GL AccountantsLead month-end closing activities, including preparation and review of journal entries and reconciliationsServe as administrator and subject matter expert for BlacklineSupport the Finance Reporting Manager with global consolidation and financial reporting in accordance with GAAPLead preparation of the annual financial statement and footnotesEnsure control and oversight of the Company’s Global chart of accountsAssist in developing and implementing process and system improvementsOversight of global fixed asset maintenance and reportingOwnership and completion of the revenue recognition process for the percentage of completion processOversight and technical accounting point of contact for global leasesOversight and reconciliation of statutory financial reporting in local GAAPPartner with external auditors during interim and year-end auditsSupport various ongoing projects throughout the year Qualifications: 6+ years of general ledger accounting experienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting requiredCPA license preferred3+ years of experience supervising staffStrong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controlsAdvanced Excel and other reporting tool capabilitiesExperience working in a global manufacturing industry Compensation: Salary: $120,000 – $135,000 The post Accounting Manager appeared first on Landing Point.
