Accounting Manager

Looking for an accounting role where you can actually see the impact of your work? We are conducting a confidential search for a hands-on Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant to work closely with the CFO of a growing, privately held Memphis-area company. This is not a narrowly defined accounting position. You’ll have tremendous exposure to the CFO and senior leadership team while getting involved across the business — accounting, operations, job costing, process improvement and special projects. What Makes This Opportunity Interesting Own key day-to-day accounting activities including AP, AR, reconciliations, journal entries and month-end responsibilities Work closely with the CFO on job costing, reporting, invoicing and other financial projects Identify opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes and systems Gain exposure to multiple businesses and operational leaders Assist with a variety of projects outside traditional accounting The ideal candidate is someone who is strong in the debits and credits, organized, resourceful and willing to roll up their sleeves. You don't need a big-company title or a large team underneath you. We're looking for someone who enjoys being close to the business and wants the opportunity to learn directly from an experienced CFO and leadership team.
