Accounting Manager

About The Role

The role leads the accounting function, owning financial reporting, US GAAP compliance, and internal controls in a fast-paced environment. The accounting manager will drive month-end close processes, ensure SOX compliance, and partner with executive leadership to scale financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes under US GAAP
• Own SEC reporting deliverables, technical accounting memos, and external audit relationships
• Design, implement, and maintain robust SOX internal controls across core financial systems
• Supervise revenue recognition, equity accounting, and complex transactional workflows
• Collaborate with FP&A and engineering teams to automate financial data pipelines in NetSuite
• Mentor staff accountants and review balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries

What We Are Looking For

• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and high-growth technology companies
• Active CPA license required with deep technical knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and SEC regulations
• Advanced proficiency in NetSuite, modern ERP systems, and Excel data modeling
• Demonstrated experience managing close cycles and cross-functional financial audits
• Bonus: Experience with public company readiness or SOX implementation from scratch
