Accounting Manager

Position Summary
Elevate is seeking a Manager, Accounting to support our financial accounting and reporting functions during a period of rapid growth. This role involves managing the monthly close process, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and manage aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
- Review journal entries and account reconciliations
- Aid in complex accounting areas such as debt accounting, acquisition accounting, derivative accounting, and cost allocations
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Aid in the preparation of consolidated financial statements
- Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors during interim and year-end audits
- Aid in quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements
- Assist with tax compliance and related reporting obligations
- Assist with the design and implementation of new treasury processes, including documentation and roll out
- Manage and support treasury processes, including bank account set up, account maintenance, and reporting
- Assist with near-term treasury forecasting and cash management
- Support the implementation and optimization of ERP systems and accounting software
- Identify opportunities to enhance accounting controls, documentation, and workflows
- Help build scalable processes to support company growth
- Provide oversight and coordination with outsourced accounting support
- Assist in training and mentoring junior accounting staff
- Possess a seat at the table and partner cross-functionally with Development, EPC, and Finance teams
- Assist in other areas of the financial reporting and close process and other ad hoc projects, as necessary
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting and/or industry
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience with ERP systems
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred: CPA certification, or active progress towards certification
- Acumatica experience a plus, but not required

Compensation
The base compensation range for this role is $90,000 to $140,000 per year, with actual compensation determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications. Employees are also eligible to participate in the Company's annual discretionary bonus program, subject to the terms of the applicable plan.
